Jesse wound up at New Holland slaughter auction in Pa.,
where I rescued him, but Jesse also had a full brother-
they were both sold to the same person. They were sold with
a contract to never be re-sold or sent to auction. The owners
lost track of the buyers, they believe the couple may have
gotten divorced, and the phone has been disconnected, with
no further information. They have sent a letter to them,
and have not heard anything back.
They would really like to know that Jesse's brother is
safe- or did he wind up at
auction also? They would like him back, or at the least,
know that he is healthy and
safe from slaughter. I walked that auction over and over
for hours the day I got
Jesse, and I do not recall seeing a horse that looked like
his brother. Both Jesse
and his brother were sold in Pa. - past Middleburg- in Micalisterville
Pa.
Kathy (who helped Jesse as a foal) would like any information
if you have seen this
horse- His was originally named Bubba, but that could be
changed of course. Bubba is probably approx. 15.2 hands
now.
Please email Kathy directly at KATMAEH@aol.com
if you think you have seen his horse, or know where he is:
This is Bubba
