Jesse- Rescued New Holland,Pa.- 2006/Adopted N.J. 2008

Jesse's new year is starting out just great since he has found his forever home with Jack, Robin and their wonderful family in Jackson, New Jersey. Robin has already starting working with Jesse and on his days off, he frolics with his new buddies on 6 beautiful acres. Jesse has grown so much, and is approx. 16.2 hands now. He is still as sweet and trusting as the day he was rescued, the little horse with the little ears. Congratulations to all!

Thank you Dave and Lisa for trailering Jesse to his new home.
It is greatly appreciated!

See Jesse's story!

Domino-Rescued/-L.I., N.Y. -2007

This adorable little pony who was abused, has been adopted and has a great forever home! His new owners work with natural horsemanship methods, and he
is making great progress. Domino, who is only 5 years old loves his new friends and on his way to becoming a happy little pony.

Update: 2008
Due to a breach in my agreement, Domino is now back in the rescue and available for adoption. This cute little pony is very talented, and is approx. 11 hands. Domino has come a long way since we have had him, considering he was very abused. He loves to jump, and goes western also, and is a great trail pony. Domino is approx. 6 years old, and very healthy little guy.

Korbel-Rescued/Adopted- L.I., N.Y. -2006

Although Korbel at 20 years old, is healthy in weight, he was lame and headed to auction, and at great risk to be bought by the killer buyers. This was a joint rescue with Celtic Rein, as korbel was running out of time, , where it has been determined he has navicular syndrome. He is being treated, is not in pain, He loves it there with his new friends- and he romps all day now!. This was a joint rescue with celtic rein, as korbel was running out of time.

Update by Stephanie Celtic Rein Equine Rescue: From the day we got him off of the trailer at 3am the morning of his trip from NY to MD, Korbel was always a complete gentleman. He showed an obvious love for children and we decided that a very special home needed to be found for him where he would be loved and cherished by a special child of his own - we were lucky enough to find that home. Congratulations to Korbel, Chris and Anna - we can not thank you enough for giving Korbel such a wonderful home & life!

Pacey-Rescued/Adopted- L.I., N.Y.- 2006

Pacey a 10 year old Quarter horse, lame for over 1 year we are told, could not be sweeter, just like Korbel. She was also purchased to save her a trip to the auction. Pacey has a home for the rest of her life with a woman upstate, along with 4 other rescued mares, who are all well taken care of. She also has been diagnosed with nevicluar and is being treated. She is loving her 4 new friends, but has one special mare that is her very best friend. Thank you Celtic Rein Rescue (Md.) for all your help, with the shipping of Pacey!

Celtic Rein Rescue

Pacey is wonderful, and was just visited by our new farrier. She shines like a copper penny in the sun, and is beautiful. Thank you again for allowing us to have her to love.

Apollo- Rescued on L.I. 2005/Adopted 2005

First photos of Apollo, Then a few pounds and months later, he was adopted off his owner's property - and went immediately to a great home.

Being approx. 30 years old, and needed his feed soaked, due to his teeth, (and some Shelter, which he did not have) he is now in the excellent care of his new adoptee's home, with lot's of love, care and new furry friends! Apollo is thriving. Thank you Terri and family.

Lucky- Rescued N.J. 2005/Adopted 2005

A 16 year old- TB gelding rescued out of family home in New Jersey- He was headed to New holland Slaughter Auction. Lucky is so amazing. With time we find Lucky is trained to the max- and super, super quiet. He has put on pounds and his new adoptee Victoria is growing quickly into Lucky's ability's, and they have mutual love and respect for each other. Have fun with Lucky, Victoria!

Unfortunately Lucky had a serious accident in the late summer of 2007. He received 4 months of intense and special care, from which he did not recover. After lucky gave up the fight, the decision was made to have him humanely euthanized on Dec. 20th 2007. Victoria and Lucky shared two great years of trust, friendship and happiness together- they were truly a great team. Lucky, you will be missed.

Lady Hawke- Rescued from PA. in April-2006- Adopted July-2006

Lady Hawke once a stunning well taken care of mare, had been starved for 13 months in Pa. before we got her. She is the sweetest horse, even after all she has been through. Lady is adopted to forever home in Greene New York at Misty Meadows Retirement Farm. She is so happy with her new buddy "Dragon"! This mare is finally safe and getting the love and care she deserves.
